Finding accommodation near Monash university

Accommodation

Monash University fosters a sense of belonging among its students.

Safety, camaraderie, support, and well-being are all aspects of the community. The chance to connect and learn from each other is an essential part of preparing oneself for a life of knowledge, invention, and discovery. This is what it’s like to attend a university or in “Res.”

University life extends beyond the classrooms for students who reside on campus. Every house offers a diverse range of programs and engagement initiatives to help you meet new people, stay connected, join study groups, and have fun. Friendships made in Res can last a lifetime and become a part of social and business networks long after graduating. One of the most important decisions you’ll make at university is where you’ll live, accommodation near Monash university, and everyone is different when it comes to picking a place to reside. As a result, we’ve created a variety of on-campus housing choices.

Traditional Residence Halls

This is the epitome of on-campus living: social, supportive, and fun.

You’ll get your own private house with a king-single mattress, desk, chair, and wardrobe, among other amenities. It’s all about coming together and enjoying the experience here, however. There are community gathering spaces and games rooms and, shared kitchens & eating places.

In the stairwells, hallways, and common spaces of the halls, mascots, residential activities, discussions, late-night coffees, support, and friendships spring to life.

self-contained studio apartments

The buildings are beautifully constructed with well-thought-out modern apartments and lovely shared spaces for studying, relaxing, and socializing. They’re also all within walking distance of your classes and attractions.

Both Clayton and Peninsula’s Studio Apartment Halls provide modern self-contained single rooms with all the amenities you need and a personal en-suite bathroom & kitchenette.

You may still love the social features of living inside a residential community because each level has a shared kitchen and dining lounges, and each hallway has a standard room & games area.

Houses and flats that are shared

Shared flats & houses are ideal if you have friends with whom you want to share the same space or prefer a smaller community.

The majority of flats have four bedrooms, although you can pick two, three, or five.

A Peninsula Residential Village is a unique collection of tiny homes with 1 to 8 bedrooms. Each property is unique in terms of the number of individuals you’ll share it with and its style.

You’ll get your room and share the rest of the house with your roommates.
