(Continues) I’ve seen divers having to battle with resort or dive operation personnel to get the vacation they paid for because their "leader" can’t be bothered to intercede on their behalf. And, I’ve seen disgruntled group members still waiting at the resort at 11:00 in the morning to depart for their first dive of the day — because their group leader is still sleeping it off from the night before. As a 30-year dive-industry veteran, I find such lack of professionalism abhorrent. Unfortunately, it is far too common.
